If I had a nickel for every recipe that was ever written down in my family, I would be very poor. It was just a coincidence for our kitchen to accumulate measuring cups, spoons, and pie weights. We went through a non-traditional route and actually bought cookbooks to make non-Vietnamese food. My mom thinks it’s ridiculous.
